Thank you all so much for your advice and support on my post yesterday! It helps so much to know that I’m not in this alone and there are so many who can relate. I’ll definitely be looking into some options for getting us out of the house (going to check out the local YMCA today!) and keeping us sane! You all are the best! <3
1. I got out of the house yesterday evening with Mr. Henry and met up with a bunch of girlfriends at Cafe Caturra for some yummy wine, food, and, of course, fun times catching up! It was so nice to see everyone and introduce them to Henry. And to get some friend time in!
2. Easter Candy – Easter is upon us and that means the candy is out in full force. My weakness are the Robins Eggs (whoppers) but it’s kind of perfect since malt aids in milk production (hence the chocolate malted Ovaltine I’ve been drinking some days) and Robins Eggs have malted centers. YES PLEASE!
4. Warm day walks – I am so ready for spring. I’ve had serious cabin fever this year (might that have something to do with having a toddler at home now??) so getting out for walks recently has been SO nice. Even if that means the toddler yells “OUT MAMA” after about 20 minutes. Nothing some headphones can’t fix 🙂
5. Cordskinz – The super nice folks over at Cordskinz reached out asking me to review their product for them on the good ‘ole blog. The girl that reached out was so nice that I couldn’t say no.
Their product has a main purpose – to keep your earbud cords from getting tangled up! I don’t know about you, but nothing drives me crazier than being ready to go for a walk (or run, or some other form of exercise) and having to sit there and untangle your earbud cords. And I’ve had some doozies of tangles.
The Cordskinz are really easy to put on (they come with an applicator tool) and so far, I haven’t had any tangles to speak of!
I tested them out on our walk yesterday and took the time to do a little photo pop with my favorite little girl 🙂
They come in 11 different colors, including pink, red, green, clear, white, and black (more colors are listed on the site).
Check them out, highly recommended by yours truly!
*I was provided two sets of Cordskinz in exchange for this review – all opinions are my own!
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend on tap – ours looks like it will have some rain, but it should be fun as Brooke’s grandaddy and Miss Kristi are coming to visit!
