As you all know, I’m a mom. We have to take temperatures all. the. time. Usually, it’s the temperature of a child. Sometimes, it’s our significant others (although, hopefully, they know how to use a thermometer). Other times it’s our own. I don’t know how things run in your household, but we aren’t the most organized bunch of Brackmann’s out there. That being said, when it comes time to take one’s temperature, we have to make very sure the thermometer we are using in our mouths isn’t one that has previous been in someone’s behind (that someone is Brooke…just in case I needed to make that clear).
Braun®, through my ambassadorship with Influenster, has ever so graciously sent me their Braun NTF3000US Braun No Touch plus Forehead Thermometer to test out and provide my wise review on the product.
Right off the bat, I knew this thing would be pretty spectacular for one main reason. It doesn’t go in anyone’s orifices! That means no chance whatsoever of, well…you get the idea…yuck
baby butt photo bomb!
It’s incredibly hard to get a non-blurry picture of this toddler when shining a light in her face!
Also, another HUGE perk, especially with the little ones who spike fevers at night (why is it always at night?) – you can use this machine to take a temperature without waking little one up. That means no taking off a diaper, ticking off the kiddo by putting the thermometer up their little hiney to get a reading, and then trying to get them to go back to sleep. Just a quick forehead scan (or touch, if you so choose) will give you baby’s temperature and they get to sleep straight through it (unless you are a clutz and step on a lego or something while going into their room)
The read out is color coded, too…green for no fever, yellow for a low grade fever, and red for a higher fever.
Hooray for no fevers!
I know this little tool will totally come in handy, not only with Brooke, but with B2 when he comes to join the family in January!
I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.
