I think this Father’s Day was a bit more exciting than last years … maybe because we were awake or not in the newborn-fog?? Who knows – but what I DO know is that this past weekend was a fun one for all!
The World Cup started last weekend and someone got in on the fun with her own Brazuca (Thanks Uncle Sam!). She was even kicking it last night!
Robert’s mom and her husband Randy came out for a visit this weekend and we took them out to Lickinghole Creek Brewery. It was the first time we had been and it was a lot of fun! The owners have a lot of kids, so there were a bunch of things for Brooke to do, like jumbo Jenga, sidewalk chalk, and plenty of space for her to practice her new walking skills 🙂
She is all over the place now!
She was an angel the whole time – everyone was commenting on what a good girl she is – we are very lucky!!
Hams – both of them!
The aforementioned sidewalk chalk. She was covered!
Debbie, Randy, Brooke, Me and Robert. It was a beautiful day!
Just walking around holding Daddy’s hand.
On Sunday, we took her outside since it was so nice and let her play in the new car her Grandaddy got her. She was just straight chillin’! This is also the first time she hasn’t ripped the sunglasses off as soon as we put them on. She was loving it!
It was a lovely, relaxing weekend and I hope Robert and all of you dad’s out there had an AMAZING Father’s day!
