I know – I was posting every day about the WOD’s and what was going on, and I just fell off. No other reason than I got lazy. I’m not going to put the pressure on myself to blog about it every day, but I do want to keep you all updated on my progress!
A few weeks ago we had a “Max Week” where we did the basics (back squat, front squat, bench press, dead lift, push press, clean & jerk) to find our max (a weight where you can only do one rep).
My max weeks weights were:
Back Squat: 135lbs
Front Squat: I missed this day but I’m guessing it’s somewhere around 120lbs?
Bench Press: 70lbs – my chest and shoulders are still weak!
Dead Lift: 215lbs (yea buddy!)
Push Press: 90lbs
Clean & Jerk: 95lbs
These aren’t ideal but they are more than they were when I started – so I’m just focusing on the progress.
Today was front squat day – I did 7 sets of 3 reps with 95lbs.
I was fighting for that last one!
After that was “Elizabeth” – 21-15-9 of Power Cleans and Ring Dips (I did push ups to keep building up those muscles…booo). I finished in 11:52. Not first but not last!
All in all CF is going great and I seriously love the workouts. I actually get disappointed when I miss one and that has NEVER happened for me before.
