Today was work, WOD, work, and home to relax. With the busy weekend, it was nice to not have to do anything, besides cook dinner (which Robert took care of) and hang out with miss B. So nothing terrible exciting to report….but here was the WOD:
70% – 65
80% – 75
90% – 85
My OH squat still needs a lot of work. I’m using a 25lb bar plus 2 5lb weights here, but 2 rounds into the workout I had to take the 5’s off. So even though L2 weight calls for 65, I used 25. Whomp whomp. It’s okay though, I’m getting there. I can tell my form is getting a bit better so that is good.
Something I truly love about CrossFit is that I’ve been going for 4 months now and I am still doing new things that I haven’t done before (last week was bench press, the week before was rope climb, this week was a tabata workout). Whether its a new movement or a new way of doing a movement, it always keeps me interested and no workout is ever the same.
From Sunday 🙂 This onesie is from her Aunt Heidi. The caption under the left picture says “Your mom” and under the right says “My mom” 🙂 So awesome!
Trying out mum mum’s last night – loved them!
Also – for anyone in and around the Richmond area – SuperFit Games is this weekend at the Richmond Coliseum. Jake, the owner of my box, and Jamie, my coach, run the show (it’s nationwide and totally awesome) and they do an amazing job with it. The team competition is on Saturday and Masters is on Sunday. It’s going to be awesome and very motivational. If you are looking into CrossFit and thinking you might want to give it a try, go watch the competition and see what some of these folks are doing – it’s incredibly inspiring and will definitely give you a push to try something new!
For my Richmond friends – I’m going to try to go on Sunday for a bit if anyone is interested! To watch is $15.
