Holy moly – can I come up for air for just a minute?? Work has been super crazy with deadlines lately, meaning when I get home, one of the last things I want to do is stare at another computer screen (unless it’s playing QuizUp on the iPhone which if you haven’t started playing…it’s crazy addictive.)
Anyway – Sunday was super fun. I woke up and hung out with this cutie pie:
Then I went on a walk (one piece of advice I received is from my friend Rob – who told Robert to tell me – to find out my fat burning heart rate zone, and walk or jog to keep my heart rate in that zone for 45 minutes. I’m guessing this is something to do 3 or 4 times a week on top of CrossFit, so I went on Sunday. It was cold but not too terrible. I passed the couple pictured below a few times.
Can I just say how adorable it is to work out with your significant other in head-to-toe matching outfits???
It’s not adorable. This is the face I made after I passed them.
I kid you not, they had the same beanie on (navy blue with a yellow N), the same grey shirt, black tights, and THE SAME SHOES. How does this happen? When Robert and I just happen to wear the same type of outfit, one of us usually changes, because no. We are married. We are not twins.
Then I played ‘jungle gym’ some – which is always a fun time 🙂
Then I met Audrey at the SuperFit competition. It was awesome and really gave me the itch to do a competition (in time…in good time…)
5 toes-to-bar, followed by a snatch and 10 overhead squats (I think…I dont really remember) – this was the ladies team division.
Then the mens, co-ed, and ladies competed again doing 120 double unders, 60 burpees, 30 pull ups, and 15 snatches.
I texted Heidi and told her next year we’d do the team competition and we’d dominate. Duh.
can’t take the time to fix my pant leg during the middle of a WOD. nosiree.
And then I spent the rest of my Monday evening with this little angel 🙂
Now they are calling for crazy weather here the next few days. I’ve seen everything from 4-7 inches to 15-20 inches. We’ll see what really happens. Have a great one!!
