The weekend was fairly good as far as food goes. I didn’t get a whole lot of exercise in though. I had an all day meeting in Virginia Beach on Friday so there was no CrossFit, and I guess you could consider painting our bedroom a workout, which we did Saturday and Sunday.
I also had Robert set up the bike trainer on Saturday so I did that after painting for 30 minutes. I can tell it’s been a while since I’ve been on the bike. My legs were burning after a few minutes. My heart rate was hardly up and they were already burning. It was a slow bike, but I did it anyway. While watching Downtown Abbey (still on Season 3…no spoilers please!). My butt still hurts a bit today from not being used to being in the saddle, but we’ll get there.
So not a bad weekend at all. Oh and there were a couple sips of red wine in there on Saturday but it was terrible so I didn’t record it. Literally. Probably not even an ounce. So bad.
After biking on Saturday, I got in the floor and did a few push ups for practice. Brooke decided it was a great opportunity to show me how to do them properly.
