Outlet mall, Olympic Park, downtown Park City – all of these were part of our day today. We started the day out with a trip to the outlet mall for Robert to get some boots. We ended up with lots of things but boots weren’t part of the package, I guess that is what you have to expect will happen when you go to an outlet mall 🙂
Later in the day, we made the short trek out to Olympic Park and walked around the museum, wondered up the trail for the bobsled and watched skiers training for the aerial jumps, which was pretty amazing. I snapped some great pictures of these guys and gals flying over ramps, I can’t wait to share them!
Tonight we headed out to downtown Park City and stopped at the Wasatch Brewery before dinner at Butchers, a pretty nice steakhouse where it is apparently ok to dine in pajama pants tucked into your Uggs and fur coat and hat on top, even if you are a 50 year old man (no, I didn’t get a picture of this, but your imagination should conjure up a pretty accurate image with my description!) A pretty comfy dinner indeed 🙂
I’ve got lots of pictures almost ready to post for your enjoyment and will post them tomorrow :).
