Yesterday was a long day. It was good and I got a lot done (after I left work, of course…) but it leaves me very sleepy today. I finished painting the stairwell hallway and the hall upstairs (pictures to come), had dinner with our friends Melissa and Scott (at Stuzzi on Belmont for all of you Richmonders – it was very good!) and fulfilled some Etsy orders that came in yesterday and finally got into bed around midnight. I know that isn’t ridiculously late or anything, but for someone who I used to going to bed around 10, midnight is stretching it out a little! (that made me sound really old, didn’t it?) So that made today kind of a long day too, since I spent a majority of it yawning and trying to stay conscious at work.
Robert came home from his trip from San Francisco today, which I was really excited for, since he’d been gone all week, which leads me to what I am thankful for on day #2 – well-trained pilots! The weather here today was really crappy, with wind gusts of 45 – 50 miles per hour, and I know I didn’t want to drive my car in that wind, so I certainly wouldn’t want to be responsible for hundreds of others lives while piloting a plane. So I am grateful to you airline pilots who do your job well and bring our loved ones home to us, safe and sound 🙂
Me and my amazing husband, I’m just glad he is finally home 🙂
