I cannot believe it! Only 16 days until we close!! Now if only our current house would just pack itself up, neatly and nicely, into all of those empty boxes we have and move itself from point A to point B, we’d be set 🙂
BUT just a few more updates for you all.
VOILA! The Deck! “Ain’t she a beaut, Clark?” But seriously, many a-cookout will be had on this deck here 🙂
And here’s Robert on our new deck. Looks good on him, doesn’t it?
Night time shot towards the house. We’ll definitely need drapes…or blinds…or both.
The stairs have been stained, sanded and stained again (although apparently when there is a sign on each and every door to get inside the house that says “NO MUDDY SHOES!” it actually means “IF YOU HAVE MUDDY SHOES, PLEASE WALK EVERYWHERE YOU CAN IN THIS HOUSE, INCLUDING THE WALLS AND POTENTIALLY THE CEILINGS TOO, THANKS!”)
Geniouses. But they do look good!
Anyway – in other news…
They finally poured our driveway and walkway – tan aggregate looks good with the house, I’d say!
Since it gets dark around 4:30 now (ok ok…5:30…still…) this was the best I could do after work. Mind the orbs, just the tiny spirits watching over me…
And again. Hi orbs. Funny how they disappeared after I wiped the lense off…
Daytime shot. If it looks long, it’s because it is!
And our walkway!
They also installed the ceramic tile surround on the tub in the master on Sunday (who I think is one of the culprits of the muddy floor crime). Regardless, he did a great job on the installation – now Robert and I just have to paint the quarter-round white, because it just does not look right the way it is.
That’s about all for now, folks. I hope within the next week or so will have carpet and all of the touch up stuff done, and perhaps a yard! Stay tuned!
